Player Evaluation February 2nd - Update

Due to potential rain on Saturday, February 2nd, we are moving player evaluations to LA Dodger Training Academy located at 2607 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA 90278. Makeup time slots will be between 12:30p-3p. Please be on the look out for an email from the league about location and time slot changes.
These evaluations are to help create balanced teams to make a better playing experience.

Spring 2019 Baseball Player Evaluation Information

2019 Spring Evaluations are fast approaching. Evaluations are being held at American Martyrs School on January 26th and 27th as well as on February 2nd. The evaluations are a way to create parity amongst the teams to make the experience of Little League the best possible for all. This will be a low-pressure evaluation. The evaluations will be performed by the LA Dodger Training Academy with assistance from our 13-16 year-old players to assist in the process.

During the evaluation your child will complete the following drills:

Pitching
Hitting
Infield
Outfield
Catching (only if interested in playing catcher)
Speed/Agility

In order to make sure evaluations go as smooth as possible, here is a checklist to follow:

Sign up for a slot, an email will be sent for sign-ups
Make sure your child comes to American Martyrs 15 minutes prior to scheduled time for "warm-ups"
Make sure your child brings their batting helmet, glove, bat as well as tennis shoes and a baseball hat (NO CLEATS ARE ALLOWED ON AMERICAN MARTYRS TURF)
Parents will not be allowed on the field for safety reasons, but we will have MB Little League personnel in attendance to answer questions about the upcoming season.
Following the evaluation, you are free to leave. We will contact you if your child is placed in the wrong division and we believe he/she should play in a different division.
